Will this interfere with the regionals?

Comment by SICFIT on October 29, 2013 at 6:09am
Probably not but not certain. Traditionally Regionals have been over by the first week of June but you never know. HI is lumped in with N.Cal and based on the last 2 years they have competed in early May.

How to Beat Narrative Bias and Find Dieting Success

When it comes to dieting, we are often our own worst enemy. But there are ways to overcome that.

I recently started a new fat-loss program. For a few months, I had been tracking food intake, and I was tired of it. I had gotten pretty good at estimating my macros, and figured I’d give this new diet a try without any hardcore tracking.

I know people who do this very well, and I’ve had a few clients whose success was largely because they were outstanding intuitive dieters. They had a wonderful understanding of satiety, didn’t overstuff themselves, and were mindful of what they were putting into their bodies.

How to Perform a Perfect Turkish Get Up With a Barbell

Follow these steps to develop your total body strength like an old-time strongman.

I first got into doing the get up, also known as the Turkish get up, when I was introduced to kettlebells. This happened to also be my introduction to other great exercises like the bent press, windmill, and more.

Side note: I think many people fall in love with kettlebells not because of the tool so much, but because they end up doing far better exercises than what they had been doing previously with barbells and dumbbells, i.e. the standard commercial gym workouts.

You’re stuck spending thirty minutes on your warm up and wondering why you can’t make any gains in your training. Even more importantly, your squat depth is abysmal, you lack a comfortable and effective benching position, and your deadlift pulls are slower than molasses traveling uphill.

What’s your problem?
