Will this interfere with the regionals?

Comment by SICFIT on October 29, 2013 at 6:09am
Probably not but not certain. Traditionally Regionals have been over by the first week of June but you never know. HI is lumped in with N.Cal and based on the last 2 years they have competed in early May.

Grown-Up Granola: A Recipe for On-the-Go Paleo Goodness

Change can mess us up or open new doors and opportunities - in life, and in the kitchen.

Okay, I admit it: I am still on the grown-up back-to-school rant. Last week I was driving to my normal teaching assistant gig at Antioch University and suddenly my fifteen-minute drive was now more like forty minutes. It happened just like that.

Why You Should Be Doing the One-Handed Hardstyle Swing

Hardstyle is the expression of ballistic strength. Here are some tips to help you get the most of it.

The one-handed Hardstyle swing is a great tool that builds explosive strength, powerful grip, and impressive glutes. Although the same benefits can be found in heavy two-handed swings, the one-handed version amplifies muscle activation as the body needs to stabilize the off-center motion of the kettlebell.

Today, I want to get a bit more into the science side of what happens when our heel strikes the ground during gait. We’re going to talk about forces, and more specifically, impact forces - how important they are and how crucial it is that we are prepared to handle them.
